 Quartets

Each quartet consists of four 12'x12" paintings in one frame. 

The idea is to see how the four contiguous paintings interact and get along,

like any community of things or relationships. 

"How they get along" might even be an "experience" that is only available by letting them in as a Quartet of One. 

From each Quartet arises a unique 5th experience that is beyond the sum of the four.

This experience is often clearly noticeable to the viewer.

However, as one tries to describe it in words, it disappears...as intangible as a thought or feeling.
